Getting and keeping an up-to-date company database is probably one of the most frustrating problems for any company. It's important to have this information so that your call accounting system can be installed correctly, can function properly, and give you the information you need. We have many ways to help you with this process during the VXTracker installation, including importing from your spreadsheets or giving you a template to work with. Automate Adds, Moves and Changes
One of the major problems with managing databases is entering, modifying and deleting data. By automating the process of data entry, VXTracker's LDAP Integration module ensures the integrity of the database, from initial implementation through ongoing maintenance. With the LDAP Integration module, you can simplify moves, adds, and changes (MAC's) in the database by automatically synchronizing with other systems. This greatly increases the accuracy of the call accounting system reports. LDAP Integration can be implemented for a one-time fee through our professional services group.

Single-Point-of-Entry Interface
Most companies today experience frequent updates to division or department assignments, cost center and budgeting groups, employee extension numbers, and authorization or account codes. LDAP Integration greatly simplifies those changes by providing a Single Point of Entry (SPOE) interface that will receive change requests from a variety of corporate sources.

This interface is platform independent. It can receive MAC updates from any number of sources, such as an LDAP Directory, phone switch management systems, ODBC, CSV, XML, Excel or an Active Directory database. It extracts the necessary information and automatically reconciles changes to the master VXTracker database, keeping it consistently up to date.

Eliminate Duplicate Data Entries
Database changes can be synchronized to occur on demand, or at user-defined intervals. Companies can eliminate duplicate data entry, save administrative time, and eliminate discrepancies between databases, thus making the VXTracker system easier to manage and maintain, in addition to making the reports more accurate.

Maintain a History of Changes
Another major benefit of LDAP Integration is that even when synchronizing with other systems, ours has the built-in intelligence to accurately track stations, authorization codes and/or account codes, and maintain a history as they change over time, enabling users to keep an accurate history of station assignment and ownership.
